I am always looking for unique things for baby to wear at their first photo shoots. Upon looking it seemed evident to me that really there is not much out there. Out came my sewing machine and fabrics and of course ribbon. Here you have the cutest little outfit to wrap that new bundle in for that first photography session. Some call them pods, swaddlers, cocoons even. This one I call the photo pod. They are not intended for baby to sleep in overnight. Made from lightweight knit so perfect for that hot summer shoot. I have even made a matching little hat, which can be used for everyday use. All seams are serged and ribbon is sealed to prevent fraying. All roses are handmade and stitched on. Easy to get on baby. Just scrunch it up like a sock and put over babies feet and slide upwards toward neck. Slide those little arms inside or leave them out.
